Updates again? i think yes

ok, so i tweeted and asked if you guys wanted me to make an entry for TOY (tales of yore) or make TAG 3 (the awesome guy 3). the response was pretty much TAG 3 all the way.
so i'm gonna be doing TAG 3.
one other thing, i just got a new camera, the canon rebel t2i/550D. the great thing about it is the fact that it has remote capture so i'll essentially be able to animate faster and better because i won't be needing to press the little button on the top of the camera.
oh, and one last thing. i've been working on a new walk cycle that will hopefully look more believable than the old one. i'll make a video that compares the two.

Updates

ok, so you may have noticed that i haven't uploaded a new video in like a month. well, i've been working on two projects that i may or may not finish, my entry for TOY and the awesome guy 3. I just came up with an idea a little while ago for "the unknown 2", which wouldn't take long at all to make, so i might be able to pull it off in one day. also, school just finished for me so i'll have a lot more time to do brickfilming stuff!

Terrible news

i misplaced the awesome guy =(

you know what that means, the awesome guy 3 is gonna be unavoidably postponed. i'll still be working on scripting and stuff though.

[Random Thought] - Onion skinning

if you're an animator like me, you probably know what onion skinning is. maybe you use it for your animations. anyway, as some of you know, my camera doesn't have remote capture, so i can't use onion skinning. well, today, i wanted to find out what i'm missing out on, so i dug out an old webcam, grabbed helium frog, and started animating.

my conclusion:

i'm not missing out on much.

just kidding. well, it WAS helpful but i found that simply capturing the frame and going back and fourth between it and the previous frame really works better. idk. just a thought.
